GENERAL MANAGER – FIRE ALARM SERVICES
Location: Reading (Site-Based)
Base Salary: Up to £75,000 + £20,000 Annual Bonus (Paid Quarterly)
Holidays: 25 Days + Bank Holidays
A leading fire alarm service provider in Reading is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee and drive the performance of their Fire Systems division. This is a pivotal, site-based leadership role with full responsibility for operational delivery, commercial performance, and strategic growth.
Key Requirements
- Fire Systems Background (Commercial Sector):
Proven experience within fire detection, fire alarm, or fire systems environments is essential.
- P&L Ownership (£3m+):
Demonstrable experience managing and delivering profit & loss performance at scale.
- Sales & Growth Capability:
A track record of driving new business, expanding service offerings, and increasing revenue—not just account management.
Role Overview
- Lead and develop the fire systems team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee operational performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive commercial strategy, including new business development and revenue growth.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and P&L performance for a multi-million-pound division.
- Work closely with senior leadership to shape long-term business direction.
