We're working with a well-established and reputable Fire and Security company based in South West London, who are looking to recruit a dedicated Scheduler to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented professional to play a pivotal role in coordinating daily service schedules, ensuring seamless delivery of services to clients across the region.
About the Role
As Scheduler, you'll be at the heart of operations, managing service diaries, planning engineer appointments, and responding proactively to client and internal scheduling needs. You'll work collaboratively with engineers, the operations team, and clients to ensure that every job is planned efficiently and completed to the highest standard.
This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple priorities, and enjoys problem-solving on the go. You'll be the go-to person for coordination, ensuring the right engineer is dispatched to the right job at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and coordinate daily schedules for field-based engineers
- Manage service diaries, appointments, and workload allocation
- Liaise with clients and engineers to confirm appointments and respond to changes
- Prioritise reactive callouts and emergency works alongside planned maintenance
- Maintain accurate records and update scheduling systems in real time
- Support the wider team with administrative and operational tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a scheduling, coordination, or planning role (ideally within fire and security, facilities management, or a technical field service environment)
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – and a confident telephone manner
- High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach
- A friendly, professional attitude and the ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients alike
- Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook)
