Key Responsibilities
- Install electronic security systems to a high standard, including additions, moves, and changes
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and CCTV
- Work confidently with intruder alarm signalling devices (Emizon, Dual-Com, Webway)
- Deliver excellent communication and customer service while working on-site
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional work ethic at all times
- Adapt quickly to new environments, products, and requirements
- Apply product and parts knowledge of alarm and security equipment
- Read and interpret building plans and CAD drawings
- Collaborate with customers to meet installation requirements and specifications
- Communicate effectively with customers, management, supervisors, and admin teams
- Work independently or as part of a team across a defined geographical area
- Complete documentation including site schematics/drawings and return to admin department
- Plan and manage workload effectively
- Travel and work away on occasion
- Always adhere to Health & Safety standards and toolbox talks
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the electronic security industry with strong knowledge across systems
- Fully conversant with NSI standards
- Skilled in Network/IP-based and analogue CCTV systems
- Knowledge and experience of access control and intruder systems
- Clean, full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends when required
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and collaborate with other contractors on-site
